Boosting Maize Farming Productivity - S1_2024

Summary: This initiative aims to improve maize farming productivity by empowering farmers, particularly women and youth in rural areas, through input financing. By addressing the challenges of outdated farming practices and the impact of climate change on local knowledge, the program focuses on sensitizing farmers to adopt and validate technological advancements. This approach will enable them to enhance their production management skills and contribute to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals 1 & 2.

Objective: The fundraising campaign targets raising funds to create job opportunities and reduce poverty among underprivileged groups, including women and young individuals in rural areas, through input financing for maize farmers.

 

Business Operation: Please be aware that any provided end date is an estimation of the commodity's maturity. Harvesting and sale of the commodity usually take one to three months after the project's completion. Returns will be made following the successful sale of the farm's produce.
